The VA56 is a multiband railway antenna for mobile communication with a low-profile and omnidirectional design. It has multiple radiating elements, each with its own connector output.
The antenna‘s 160 MHz and 450 MHz radiating elements are optimally located to achieve maximum output-to-output isolation, allowing for simultaneous use of all Rx & Tx radio bands. The 160 MHz band can be tuned for optimal performance or to compensate for antenna installation variations.
The dual independent GSM radiating elements provide simultaneous channels for GSM-R radio and GSM public/data transmission (UMTS, WiFi, etc.). The GNSS radiating element covers GPS L1, GLONASS G1, Galileo E1, and BeiDou B1, with a pre-filtered low-noise amplifier to suppress out-of-band signals and maintain low-noise GNSS signal reception.
