The ZR47S is a single-channel duplex radio station designed for continuous operation on an unattended line stand. The base station transmits the frequency quartets designated for the track section at one of the frequencies A, B, or C, while the receiver works at frequency D.
The station can be networked with two or more ZR47S connected by a four-point line, with the first ZR47S connected to the dispatcher‘s workplace. In such radio networks, the dispatcher can only be connected to one mobile subscriber within a range of several ZR47S, with the receiving of the transmitter being made by the station with the highest signal.
The ZR47S is remotely controlled by the dispatcher‘s workplace to ensure its correct operation. The base stations are connected in series to the dispatcher‘s control room to form a line network, and interconnecting lines are four-wire.
